Individual Training

Bespoke, One-to-One training sessions are designed and tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. This can be useful for working on specific behaviours you need help with, such as:

Canine ‘Life Skills’ Course includes:

  • House Manners, including over-excitement/jumping up with visitors
  • Toilet Training
  • Pulling on Lead
  • Recall and coming back when called
  • Dealing With Over-Excitement and/or ‘acting up’ for attention.

Cost: €150 (one session)

We cover the entire Dublin Area, both North and South of the County. We are more than happy to visit you and your dog in the surrounding Meath, Kildare, Wicklow areas, but this may occur an additional travel cost.

If you have a specific training issue you would like addressed, please contact us directly. Most problems can be addressed in one or two visits. Discounts are available for multiple sessions addressing an on-going training issue.

Why Choose 1-2-1?

Our individual training sessions are convenient and can be arranged in the comfort of your own home at a time to suit you. Unlike training in a larger group class, you and your dog will receive our full attention. Additionally, not all dogs are comfortable in a class setting. Some may even have difficulty being in close proximity to other dogs and people. This can make it hard for them to take on training and learning in the ‘traditional’ sense.

For these dogs, Individual/1-2-1 Training is an ideal option, as there are less distractions than there would be in a busy classroom. We will travel to you and address the issues in the comfort of your own home, or even out on a walk. This setting allows both you and your dog to be calmer. In fact, they will have better focus, which will facilitate quicker learning for everyone.

Kevin helped us with our 1 year old Pomeranian Sally, as we needed some support with behaviour and listening, particularly around children. He taught us practical tips using treats to improve her recall and attention and helped us too to trust her to come back. Since we worked with Kevin, both Sally and we have more confidence when taking her out on long walks and in groups of people and helped us to understand her better.
